Honorary Pit Bosses
Generally credited with being the original driving minds behind the original Rotary Steak Cook-off we honor fellow Rotarians Mike Lyons and Charlie Baumhauer, whose combined creativity and drive laid the foundation for what has become “The Coolest Street Party in the Known Universe” are our “Honorary Pit Bosses.”

Fairhope High School Interact Club
The FHS Interact Club is sponsored by the Fairhope Rotary Club. The club provides an opportunity for students to learn important leadership and professional skills, have fun, and learn to work in their community on various civic projects that the student members choose and participate in under the direction of the principal and the club’s faculty advisor. Tutoring at the Rotary Youth Club and helping build with Habitat for Humanity are just two examples of projects the Interact students participate in. Two students each year are selected to attend RYLA leadership camp in Montgomery. The students help with the Steak event in setup and tear-down.
